Tau Krootox

This Krootox was part of a job of Kroot that I bought to finish off the troops in my Tau army. I can't really see it getting on the table, but it's quite a fun model, and I always like to paint stuff that I've bought...eventually.
These are now produced in finecast, but this particular example is white metal. It is satisfying heavy, and in fact I think that its the biggest lump of pewter I've ever painted, except my 2nd edition Dreadnought.
The orangey tufts on this side of the model are intended to tie him in to both the Purple Kroot and Orange Kroot in my army... I am not sure that I would have used orange on this mini otherwise, but it looks reasonably good.
